About MHT-CET Exam?

MHT-CET (Maharastra Common Entrance Test) is an entrance test for getting admission into health sciences, Engineering and pharmacy courses in private, Government, Aided & Unaided Colleges in Maharashtra. MH CET is conducted by Maharashtra State Government where around 48,250 appear every year. The test is conducted in offline mode, however online practice tests are also available.

MHT-CET 2013 Paper Pattern:-

The MHT CET Entrance Exam consists of three question papers of subjects mathematics, Physics & chemistry, Biology - Botany & Zoology.

Paper I: Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)
Paper II: Biology -Botany & Zoology (50 marks each)
Paper III: Mathematics (100 Marks)

MHT CET Exam Syllabus

MHT-CET 2013 Exam Date:-

The examination will be held in the month of May.

MHT-CET Online Registeration:-

The Online Application Form is being made available to only those eligible candidates, who are desirous of seeking admission to the colleges through centralised Admission Process on the official website www.dte.org.in. Aspiring candidates are required to fill in the Online Application Form, take the printout of the Online Application Form and Confirm the Online application form in person along with duly signed printout of the Online Application form, required documents (both originals and attested copies) at the Application Form Receipt Center (ARC) listed as per schedule. The merit list of eligible candidates for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) will be displayed on website. Applications of Maharashtra State, OMS and AIEEE candidates received by post at ARC/DTE office will be rejected and no communication will be done with the candidate.

MHT-CET Eligibility:-

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics with atleast 50% aggregate marks in PCM. There is 5% relaxation for Maharashtra backward classes.

Admission to Bio-Medical / Bio-tech Engineering course:
Candidates seeking admission to Biomedical/Bio-Tech Engineering course should have passed in the subject of Biology in the qualifying examination.

Admission to Marine Engineering Course in Padm. Vasantdada Patil Pratishtan’s College of Engineering, Sion, Mumbai:
Candidates aspiring to take admission to Marine Engineering Course in the following institute should directly contact the Principal of the college for eligibility criteria (Educational Qualification and Entrance Test) and admission process.

Admission to Mining Engineering course:
Female candidates are not eligible for admission to Mining Engineering course.
