AIIMS Entrance Exam
Here are the details of AIIMS Entrance 2013 Exam, Dates, Paper Pattern, Centres, Colleges and Online Application Forms.
 
What is AIIMS Exam?
AIIMS stands for All India Institute of Medical Sciences. The entrance exam is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for getting admission into its undergraduate & postgraduate courses. The filling of application forms starts in the mid of January and it lasts till the end of March. The score will be valid for 1 year only.
 
AIIMS 2013 Paper Pattern :-
The exam has 200 multiple choice and reason-assertion type questions. The duration of the exam is of three and half hours. There are 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry and Biology and 20 questions from General Knowledge. 
 
 
AIIMS 2013 Eligiblity :-
For getting admission in MBBS course in AIIMS a Student has to pass class 12th with atleast 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. For SC/ST Students the minimum aggregate required is 50%. Also a Student should have attained the age of atleast 17 years by 31st December, 2011.

Number of seats through AIIMS :-
Every year arond 85000 students appear the exam of which only 70 gets selected for its MBBS programs.

AIIMS 2013 Exam Date :-
The exam will be held in the month of June.
 
AIIMS Marking Scheme :-
There is negative marking for incorrect answers.
 
Where To Get The Application Form :-
Students seeking admission to the AIIMS Entrance Examination is required to apply online through its official website. The form can also be obtained by post by sending a request for form along with a Demand Draft to AIIMS. The candidates have to fill the form and send it along with required documents to AIIMS.
 
AIIMS 2013 Results :-
The result will be declared in the month of July.

I want to know that according to AIIMS 2013 eligibility criteria I'll be 17 years old by 31st Dec. of the admission year but my birthdate is 17th january 1996 . The eligibility criteria of 2012 included that candidates born on or after 2nd January 1996 could not appear AIIMS' exam, so my question is that this year it would be 2nd January 1997. Basically i want to know if i am eligible for AIIMS 2013 or not?

i wanted to know whether ten months of dedicated preparation will be enough for cracking aiims or not?.....or the exam is much more tough than i imagine....i have taken a drop.....and my second question was will 50% of aggregate pcb board marks be included in next years neet or they will not be included? please answer my queries....

what may be the correct approach to clear aiims entrance ? correct guideline is what i needed, because working hard is not the only way to succed; right path is what i deserves, please so me the path to run, to enter aiims college in 2013 successfuly because i don`t wan a waste my year anymore............i will be very thankful to you....i want to be a perfect doctor and want to work for noble cause and devote my life for humanity
