What is TISS MBA?
TISS MBA stands for TATA Institute of Social Sciences MBA Entrance Test. The entrance test is conducted by Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai for getting admission into postgraduate programs offered by the Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. The filling of application form will start in the month of April and it will last till the end of May. The score will be vaild for 1 year.
TISS MBA 2013 Paper Pattern :-
The test is of 50 marks which has two sections. The test will examine a candidate’s logical and analytical abilities, social awareness and perspective on current issues. The sections are :-
Logical and Analytical Ability (20 marks) :-
This section of the written test will test the candidate’s ability to think logically and analyse a set of problems and find ways of explaining the phenomenon. This section will contain quantitative reasoning as well.
Social Awareness & Perspectives (30 marks) :-
This section will consist of three questions which will assess the candidates understanding of issues of social relevance.
The duration of the test is of one hour.
TISS MBA 2013 Eligiblity:-
A Bachelor's Degree of a minimum of 3 years duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognized University, in any discipline. Candidates pursuing and completing their final year degree examination by June 12, 2010 (except M.A. in Education (Elementary)) are also eligible to apply, provided they have no backlog in the exams of previous years at the time of submission of application.
