Here are the details of CMAT 2013 Exam Dates, Colleges and Online Application Forms.
What is CMAT?
CMAT stands for Common Management apptitude test. CMAT is common management test which is appeared by the students who want to get admission into 4,000 colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma in management programs. It is a computer-based test which is held twice a year, probably in the month of February and August. The score of CMAT is valid for 2 years. The test is conducted by Calibre Mindware Programming Pvt. Ltd. The registration process starts in the month of December and last uptil third week of January. Around 70,000 students from 68 centres across the country had appeared for the first CMAT which held in 2012.
Why CMAT?
CMAT has been introduced by AICTE to reduce the burden of the students so that instead of giving multiple management entrance exams, they can give a single entrance exam CMAT and apply to 4000 b-schools with that score.
CMAT 2013 Paper Pattern :-
CMAT is a 3-hours online exam having multiple choice questions which consist of 4 sections i.e Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Each section contains 25 questions of total 100 marks.
CMAT Eligiblity :-
Students who have a bachelor’s degree from any discipline with at least 40% Marks or equivalent CGPA or are in final year of the degree course may also apply subject to conditions.
CMAT 2013 Exam Date :-
CMAT Exam starts from 19th May 2013 to 22nd May 2013
Institute/colleges accepting CMAT 2013 score :-
4000+ B-Schools recognised by AICTE (excluding the IIM's) are expected to accept the CMAT. Here are the list of TOP CMAT COLLEGES IN INDIA
Number of seats through CMAT 2013:-
Arround 1.5 lac seats will be available across the country through the CMAT exam.

Students can practice for the CMAT by taking trial tests. The CMAT sample papers will be available in this space very soon.
CMAT Marking Scheme :-
Each section of the exam contains 25 questions of total 100 marks (4 marks per question). There will be a negative marking system where 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Students can get Application for by either of the two modes i.e online or offline.

The result is delcared on 1st June 2013.
