What is UPSEE?
UPSEE stands for Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam. The entrance exam is is an objective type question paper with multiple choices which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow for getting admission into degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges has been assigned to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow. The score is valid for one year and is considered at the time of the admission into various institutes.
UPSEE 2013 Exam Date :-
The exam will held in the mid of April.
UPSEE 2013 Paper Pattern :-
For B.Arch –
The entrance test paper consist of a total number of 125 questions out of which 75 objective type questions are from mathematics and 50 objective type questions from aesthetic sensitivity and drawing aptitude.
For BHMCT -
The aptitude test consist of 75 objective types of questions
For MBA -
The aptitude test consist of 125 objective types of questions
For B.tech -
The entrance exam paper consist of a total number of 225 questions out of which 150 objective type questions are from physics and chemistry and 75 objective type questions from mathematics.
For B.Pharm -
The entrance test paper consist of a total number of 225 questions out of which 75 objective type questions are from physics & chemistry and 75 objective type questions each from mathematics and biology.
For MCA -
The aptitude test consist of 125 objective types of questions.
UPSEE 2013 Eligiblity:-
The candidates must pass plus two under the UP board or from the recognized board as per the UPTU notification. They must study Mathematics with Physics and Chemistry in the higher secondary level. The candidates must have at least 40% marks in the qualifying examination The SC/ST candidates will get the 5% relaxation in the minimum requirement. The minimum age of the applicant should be 17.
Where To Get The Application Form :-
The Student can get the application form either by online or offline mode. The application form with the information booklet will be available through the head post office at UP, Delhi and Dehradun. The students can also apply online through the websites, www.mtu.ac.in and www.uptu.ac.in. The cost of the application form with the information brochure is Rs.1000/-.
Number of seats through UPSEE :-
Approximately 2,00,000 seats are available through UPSEE.

UPSEE Marking Scheme :-
The question paper 3 section each consists of 150 questions (4 marks each) with total marks 600. There are no negative marks for wrong answers.
UPSEE Cutoff 2013 :-
The cutoff will vary according to the institute opting for. To get into the top colleges the students must have to secure a high rank in the examination. The average score ranges between 510 and 550.
