MCA is a master's degree in computer application. It is a very popular course in computer applications. It is a three year course. In six semesters one semester is to be spent in an industry developing a software system. The candidate must have B.C.A, B.Sc, B.Com. degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects for admission in MCA. MCA graduates begin their career as junior programmers and grow at a very fast pace to become systems analysts and project leaders. The degree also develops the students with industry driven technical and operatingskills. MCA admissions is done through a common entrance test. The candidate will be granted admission after passing the entrance test. There are many well known companies like IBM, Wipro Technologies, CTS, Syntel, Infosys  which recruit the students who have MCA degree.
